CELLAR
The cellars with their traditional brick vaults are sunk 6 metres below the ground and offer perfect conditions for wine to mature in. The temperature is 11 – 13°C all year round; the air humidity is around 80%.
We leave red wines to improve in barrique barrels for at least 10 months, during which time the micro-oxidation process takes place, which affects the stability and colour of the wine. We don’t filter or decant red wines. We often age white wines in barrique barrels, but mostly in stainless-steel containers – depending on the variety and type of the grape. We only lightly filter white wines.
Storage cellar
This is where wines “rest” after bottling, and gain strength and harmony. They reach their customer in first-class condition and at the best quality after ageing in the bottle for at least 3 months.
Family Reserve ® - this strain of grapes is carefully reduced, wines mature for at least 1 year in the cellar and have great potential to be archived for a long time. .
